Shotto Logistics Limited is seeking the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of Finance Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets and cash flow statements. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting and other relevant fields. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
· The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets and cash flow statements
· The candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring efficient cash flow management and timely payments
· The candidate must ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws, handling tax fillings and preparing reports as required
· The candidate will perform regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations and support internal and external audits
Qualification
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, ICA Part II
· 3-5 years of proven work experience in a finance role, ideally within the logistics or transportation industry
· Strong knowledge of financial software
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
