University Of Media, Arts and Communication is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking and qualified individuals for the position of a Security Supervisor. The ideal candidate will oversee security operations to ensure a safe and secure campus environment. The ideal candidate must possess an HND/Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will oversee and coordinate campus security personnel to maintain a safe environment.

·       The candidate will be responsible for assisting in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.

·       The candidate will monitor and control access to campus facilities.

·       The candidate must properly patrol campus buildings, parking areas, and grounds.

·       The candidate will be responsible for supervising security response to emergencies, including medical situations, fires, and criminal activities.

·       The candidate will assign duties and shifts to security personnel.

·       The candidate will be responsible for monitoring surveillance cameras and security systems.

·       The candidate will be responsible for investigating security incidents and preparing detailed reports.

·       The candidate will maintain records of security activities, incidents, and investigations

·       The candidate will address and mediate conflicts involving students, faculty, and visitors.

·       The candidate will be responsible for assisting in enforcing campus policies and disciplinary actions.

·       The candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students on security-related matters.

·       The candidate must ensure compliance with local laws and campus security regulations.

·       The candidate will perform any other security-related tasks assigned by the university administration.

Qualification

·       Possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in social sciences or a relevant equivalent qualification.

·       Good written and verbal communication skills

·       Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills

·       Proven work experience as a security supervisor

·       A keen eye for detail
