KITEA is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of a Procurement Officer. The successful candidate will participate in the definition of the product and analyse the products. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Job Purpose
i. The Procurement Officer's mission is to select and negotiate products according to the objectives of volumes, cost, and quality, according to his category.
ii. He/She is the guarantor of the supply, the quality of the product, the delivery times, or the supplier's ability to innovate.
Job Description
i. Participate in the definition of the product and analyse the products (set of product characteristics)
ii. Study the consequences related to the launch of a product on the purchasing process (modification of quantities, expansion of product families, etc)
iii. Study, build, update, and manage the supplier portfolio.
iv. Prospect and identify new suppliers in a given area, study the characteristics of their offer, and participate in their selection.
v. Participate in negotiations on all criteria (price, quantity, etc).
vi. Supervise the processing of orders by ensuring compliance with cost and deadlines, and guarantee the availability of goods.
