Ghana Union Assurance is seeking a dedicated and versatile HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER to join our team. Interested applicants must be able to effectively manage day-to-day HR operations while contributing to broader HR strategies. Candidates with experience in the INSURANCE INDUSTRY are highly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will support with maintaining accurate employee records and managing HR documentation. The following are the responsibilities and qualification for the position;
Key Responsibilities:
i. Support with maintaining accurate employee records and managing HR documentation.
ii. Support recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes.
iii. Assist with leave administration, attendance tracking, and general HR operations.
iv. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
v. Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
vi. Support performance management, learning, and development initiatives.
vii. Assist in coordinating employee engagement activities and internal communications
viii. Provide support on employee relations matters and conflict resolution.
ix. Help organize training programs and ensure compliance reporting.
Required Qualification
i. Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
ii. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR generalist role.
iii. Experience working within the insurance industry is an added advantage.
iv. Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
v. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
