Alisa Hotels is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking and experienced individuals for the position of Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing current client base or target market for the hotel. The successful candidate should have ability to work independently and as part of a team. The following are the responsibilities and qualification for the position;

Job Description

          i.               Analyse current client base or target market for the hotel.

        ii.               Follow up closely on all business leads within a 24-hour response time line to clients.

     iii.               Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales. Implements all sales action plans related to market areas outlined in the marketing plan.

     iv.               Conducts daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to the hotel for corporate clients.

        v.               Provide daily report of field sales success and communicate summary to GSMM.

     vi.               Interact with guests as well as corporate clients to obtain genuine feedback on product quality and service levels.

   vii.               Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.

 viii.               Develop and implement strategies for the commercial plan/marketing plan Work closely with GSMM to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotel.

      ix.               Accompany the sales team on sales calls to potential clients and to assist in the development of accounts

        x.               Organize sales training and periodically access the effectiveness and sales skills of the sales team.

      xi.               Participate in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business and close on business.

   xii.               Support the hotel's service and relationship strategy and drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.

 xiii.               Reach out to organizations and businesses that might require a hotel for conferences and events and explain the hotel's ments and amenities to them.

 xiv.               Process payments and apply discounts in consultation with the GSMM. Address and resolve any issues or complaints regarding sales.

   xv.               Ensure that guests are enjoying their stay at the hotel and that large group needs are met

 xvi.               Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new clients to encourage repeat and future business.

xvii.               Assist the GSMM to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage sales programs accordingly.

xviii.               Attend all department and hotel meetings on behalf of GSMM when necessary.

 xix.               Attend all trainings as may be scheduled. Training is mandatory.

Qualification and Requirements

          i.               Proven experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality industry Strong negotiation, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

        ii.               Ability to work independently and as part of a team

     iii.               A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences

     iv.               Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency in Ezee, Opera, or other hotel PMS

        v.               Knowledge of the local market and industry trends is a plus Strong organizational and time-management abilities Customer-focused with a strong sales acumen

     vi.               Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure

   vii.               The role may require travel to meet with clients and attend industry events

 viii.               Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required based on client needs and hotel occupancy levels

      ix.               Degree/Masters in hospitality management, business administration, marketing, or a related field with at least 5 years working experience in a similar role.
