Suncity Medical Centre is seeking a strategic and dynamic Hospital Administrator to lead our facility, ensuring exceptional patient care, financial sustainability, and a culture of excellence and compliance. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership and annual plans to achieve the hospital’s long-term goals. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
i. Providing strategic leadership and annual plans to achieve the hospital's long-term goals.
ii. Oversees hospital finances, including budgeting, reporting, cost control, and revenue management.
iii. Ensuring compliance with HeFRA, GHS, NHIS, and all relevant regulations.
iv. Leading and mentoring hospital teams to ensure high performance and accountability.
v. Implement and monitor quality and safety programs to improve patient care.
vi. Oversee HR functions-recruitment, training, and performance management line with Ghanaian labor laws.
vii. Driving growth and building strong stakeholder relationships.
viii. Ensuring the hospital's facilities and equipment are well-maintained, secure, and fully operational.
ix. Develop and implement strategies to reduce operational, clinical, and financial risks.
Qualification & Experience
i. Bachelor's Degree in any of the following fields:
ii. Health Services Administration
iii. Hospital Administration
iv. Business Administration [with a focus on Healthcare Management]
v. Public Health [with management component] Or any closely related field.
vi. At least 4-5 years of progressive healthcare management experience, including 3 years in a middle or senior leadership role.
vii. Proven expertise in Ghana's healthcare regulations, hospital operations, NHIS, and financial management.
