Sky Net Express is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of a Procurement Officer. The successful candidate will identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and service providers. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
i. Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and service providers.
ii. Obtain competitive quotations and negotiate pricing and contract terms.
iii. Prepare and process purchase orders in line with approval procedures.
iv. Procure operational materials such as waybills, packaging materials, uniforms, and safety gear.
v. Coordinate fleet-related procurement, including spare parts and servicing
vi. Monitor procurement costs and support cost-saving initiatives.
vii. Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier database.
viii. Prepare periodic procurement reports for management review.
ix. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and internal controls.
Education and Experience
i. Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
ii. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in procurement.
iii. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
iv. Good knowledge of procurement and inventory processes.
v. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
vi. High integrity, accountability, and strong organizational skills.
