St. Ignatius Eye Centre seeks the services of qualified, passionate and hardworking individuals for the position of Nurse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing nursing services as outlined in the Ghana Health Service Job description for nurses. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for monitoring the conditions of patients

·       The candidate must administer necessary medications and treatments

·       The candidate will be responsible for offering emotional support to patients to ensure the best possible outcomes

·       The candidate will be responsible for educating patients and their families about healthcare procedures and participating in various rehabilitation programs

·       The candidate will be responsible for performing any additional legal duties assigned by the employer

Qualification

·       Must be in good standing with the relevant professional body in Ghana

·       Enthusiastic individuals between the ages of 21 and 39 years are encouraged to apply

·       Minimum qualification of a Degree, HND or Diploma from an accredited tertiary institution

·       At least one (1) year of relevant working experience as a Nurse

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and general computer literacy

·       Strong command of English and Twi

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Good interpersonal and coordination skills
