An established art studio in Ghana seeks a full-time, highly capable, enthusiastic, and versatile individual to support the artist in both personal and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should bring experience working in a similar setting and should be comfortable working across select personal and business settings. The preferred candidate should have a strong career and interest in arts administration, be exceptionally organised, and pay meticulous attention to detail. The candidate must be open to working some nights and on weekends.
The position is a full-time role based near Accra, Ghana.
Skills/Requirements
i. A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a visible administrative and personal management role (experience in an art-related field is an advantage)
ii. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise good judgment
iii. Exceptionally organised, detail-oriented, skilled multi-tasker
iv. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
v. Highly professional and personable - must be able to serve as the first point of contact and stand-in for the artist
vi. Proficiency with basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and inventory management software is a plus
vii. Familiarity with IT and cloud storage systems, Dropbox, and file management.
viii. A valid driver's license and competent driving skills
