Lapaz Community Hospital is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of Assistant Human Resources Manager. The Assistant HR Manager will work closely with the HR Manager to oversee and implement HR policies, support talent acquisition, foster employee engagement, ensure compliance with labor laws, and handle day-to-day HR operations. This role is critical to maintaining a productive, compliant, and motivated workforce. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Key Responsibilities:
i. The candidate will support the HR Manager in developing and executing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the hospital's goals.
ii. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
iii. The candidate must ensure compliance with labor laws, hospital policies, and HR best practices.
iv. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases.
v. The candidate will handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures. Support performance management, training, and staff development initiatives.
vi. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in payroll processing and benefits administration.
vii. The candidate will prepare HR reports and support audits as required. Promote a healthy and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
i. Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
ii. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar HR role in healthcare.
iii. Strong knowledge of Ghana Labour Laws and HR best practices.
iv. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
v. Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
vi. Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
