Fidelity Bank is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of Data Center Support. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring efficient and reliable operation of the data center facilities, including power distribution, cooling systems, physical security, and maintenance. The ideal candidate should demonstrate competencies critical to success: conceptualization, foresight, enterprise perspective, and communication. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

       i.          Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, or Engineering.

     ii.          Certifications such as ITIL, Data Center Operation Management (DCOM), Data Center Infrastructure Specialist (DCIS), etc. 

    iii.          At least 4 years of experience in Data center operations, NOC, and IT capacity management (within an IT environment, strongly preferred).

   iv.          Working knowledge of enterprise

     v.          Experience with monitoring and ticketing systems (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace, OSP).

   vi.          Familiarity with IT compliance and regulatory standards in banking (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).

  vii.          Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies and data center architecture.

viii.          Demonstrated competencies critical to success: conceptualization, foresight, enterprise perspective, consensus building, leadership, and communication.

   ix.          Experience in capacity planning, systems performance analysis, and optimization in an Enterprise environment

     x.          Advanced written and oral communication capabilities, ability to influence and successfully interface with IT leadership.

   xi.          Strong relationship-development skills resulting in long-term mutually beneficial client relationships.

  xii.          Ability to identify and communicate technologies that are appropriate to support the achievement of the business strategies and targets.

xiii.          Proven ability to build and foster a team-oriented environment

Key Result Areas

       i.          Assist in ensuring efficient and reliable operation of the data center facilities, including power distribution, cooling systems, physical security, and maintenance.

     ii.          Assist the data center manager in implementing strategies and measures to maintain high availability of data center services, minimizing downtime, and ensuring continuous operations.

    iii.          Establishing and testing comprehensive disaster recovery plans to protect critical data and services in case of emergencies.

   iv.          Overseeing the efficient monitoring of the organization's network infrastructure and ensuring prompt incident response and resolution.

     v.          Working closely with other IT teams to address complex network issues and ensure smooth communication and cooperation within the organization.

   vi.          Analyzing historical data and future business projections to estimate the IT resources required to meet the organization's growth and changing needs.

  vii.          Providing capacity-related reports and insights to management and IT teams, assisting with decision-making and resource planning.
