Edge Infrastructure, is a group of companies with operations spanning multiple industries. The ideal candidate will support the expansion of operations and oversee the financial health of our organization. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust financial management systems for the group. As follows are the responsibilities and qualification for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The design and implement robust financial management systems for the group

·       The candidate will prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports for all entities within the group

·       The candidate will be responsible for conducting periodic reviews of financial performances, including variances analysis against budgets

·       The candidate will develop and oversee cash flow management and forecasting

·       The candidate will be responsible for managing compliance with Ghanaian tax regulations, including VAT, PAYE, corporate tax, and other statutory obligations

·       The candidate will prepare and file accurate tax returns, ensuring all deadlines are met

·       The candidate will oversee the financial management of the ongoing and upcoming projects, including budgeting, cost allocation, and revenue recognition

·       The candidate will supervise, mentor and develop a team of accountants to build a high-performing finance department

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field

·       A master’s degree or professional certification such as ACCA, CA, or CPA is strongly preferred

·       A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial control and tax compliance, preferably with a group of companies

·       Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Ghana’s tax system, regulations and compliance procedures

·       Proven expertise in project accounting, including budgeting, financial tracking and reporting for projects

·       Proficiency in accounting software, for example, QuickBooks, SAP, Sage and advanced Microsoft Excel skills

·       Strong understanding of IFRS standards and their application

·       Familiarity with financial modelling, forecasting and cost optimization tools

·       Exceptional analytical modelling, forecasting and cost optimization tools

·       Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail

·       Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capability to manage multiple priorities
