Polytanks Ghana is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking and experienced individuals for the position of an Account Manager. The successful candidate will prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. The following are the responsibilities and qualification for the position;

Responsibilities

·       Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory requirements, and organizational policies.

·       Oversee the integrity of the general ledger by reviewing accounting transactions, journal entries, and ledger balances, while ensuring timely month-end and year-end financial close processes.

·       Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely settlement of supplier obligations, effective collection of outstanding receivables, and continuous monitoring of aged balances.

·       Supervise payroll administration, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, statutory deductions, payroll reconciliations, and related reporting requirements.

·       Ensure timely computation, reconciliation, filing, and settlement of all statutory obligations, including taxes, social security contributions, and other regulatory liabilities.

·       Oversee inventory accounting for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, ensuring accurate valuation, reconciliation with physical stock counts, and appropriate provisioning for obsolete or slow-moving inventory.

·       Supervise cash management activities, including the monitoring of cash flows, oversight of bank accounts, review of bank reconciliations, and maintenance of adequate liquidity to support operational requirements.

·       And any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

·       Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Roth, Masters & Professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAG)

·       Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably in manufacturing

·       Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Orion, Tally), advanced MS Excel, and financial modeling

·       Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ghana tax laws, II• RS, and manufacturing cost accounting

·       Soft Skills: Leadership, analytical thinking, integrity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
