Joshob Construction Company Limited is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking and experienced individuals for the position of a Procurement Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for source quotations, analyzing prices, delivery, and compliance. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Qualifications:
i. Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Admin, Engineering, or related field
ii. 3-5 years' procurement experience (construction/engineering preferred)
iii. Experience in purchasing materials, equipment, spare parts & subcontracted services
iv. Strong knowledge of procurement laws, contracts, vendor management & purchase cycles
Core Responsibilities:
i. Source quotations & analyse price, delivery & compliance
ii. Prepare POS and follow up for approvals & timely delivery
iii. Maintain vendor lists & monitor supplier performance
iv. Support contract negotiations and service agreements
v. Track deliveries, resolve discrepancies & coordinate with Warehouse/Accounts
vi. Maintain accurate procurement records & ensure procedural compliance
Key Skills:
i. Strong negotiation & supplier management
ii. Ability to analyse quotations & ensure technical compliance
iii. Knowledge of logistics, deliveries & warehouse coordination
iv. Cost control awareness & accurate PO/documentation handling
v. Excellent communication, detail-oriented & able to meet tight deadlines
