Stellar GH is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of a Procurement Assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing items using inventory systems or manual logs. The ideal candidate must have proven work experience as a procurement officer or equivalent. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
i. The candidate will maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing items using inventory systems or manual logs.
ii. The candidate will track stock levels and raise requisitions to replenish supplies promptly.
iii. The candidate must ensure all event items are well-labeled, arranged, and easy to retrieve
iv. The candidate will assist in the loading, offloading, and movement of event equipment to and from venues.
v. The candidate will be responsible for keeping the store clean, organized and secure, ensuring proper handling and storage of all items.
Qualification
i. Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Storekeeping, Procurement, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management from a recognized institution
ii. Proven work experience as a Procurement Officer or equivalent
iii. Good written and verbal communication skills
iv. Excellent coordinating and interpersonal skills
v. Good management skills
vi. A keen eye for detail
