The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the procurement department in sourcing, purchasing, and managing supplies and services. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
· The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of accurate local purchase orders
· The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation ensuring high compliance standards
· The candidate must have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
· The candidate will be responsible for supporting inventory management by monitoring stock levels and coordinating reorders
· The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of reports and audits
· The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records on supplier base and creditor accounts
· The candidate must have the ability to source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery timelines
Qualification
· HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management
· Completion of National Service
· Strong negotiation and communication skills
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and others
· Attention to detail and analytical thinking
