Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
• Sales Transactions Management: Accurately record and reconcile all sales transactions, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting standards.
• Accounts Receivable*: Manage the accounts receivable ledger, issue and follow up on invoices, handle customer queries, and implement credit control processes.
• Financial Reporting*: Prepare regular sales and financial reports, analyze sales data, and assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Compliance and Auditing*: Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies, assist with internal and external audits, and maintain organized records.
• Budgeting and Forecasting*: Assist in developing sales budgets and forecasts, monitor actual sales against budget, and provide insights for strategic planning.
• Collaboration with Sales Team*: Work closely with the sales team to streamline processes, provide financial support, and analyze sales performance metrics.
• Inventory Management*: Oversee inventory accounting, coordinate with the inventory team, and conduct periodic audits.
• Customer Relations*: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, resolving billing and payment issues efficiently.
• System Management*: Utilize accounting software and sales systems effectively, continuously improving processes and systems.
Qualifications:
• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a sales-focused environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (particularly Excel).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
