Akwaaba Fine Foods Limited is seeking the services of a qualified and hardworking individual for the position of Finance Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing Akwaaba Fine Foods’ finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, strengthening working capital management, and providing strategic support to the CEO.

Details:

       i.          Employer: Akwaaba Fine Foods Limited. 

     ii.          Location: Botwe (Onsite)  ⁠

    iii.          Position: Finance Lead.

   iv.          Job Type: Full-time 

     v.          Salary: GHS 5,000

Requirements:

       i.          Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

     ii.          5+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles.

    iii.          Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.

   iv.          Strong analytical and communication skills.

     v.          Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

       i.          Establish and maintain a 13-week rolling cash flow model and provide weekly updates.

     ii.          Oversee invoicing, receivables management, and payment collections.

    iii.          Implement monthly close processes.

   iv.          Prepare management accounts and financial dashboards.

     v.          Lead credit control, including customer reconciliations.

   vi.          Manage vendor relationships, payment schedules, and bank reconciliations.

  vii.          Support tax compliance, optimize allowable deductions, and assist with other statutory requirements.

viii.          Work with auditors, regulators, and external accountants for statutory reporting.

   ix.          Develop internal controls and accounting policies to improve governance.

     x.          Provide commercial analysis to support pricing, promotions, and export readiness.
