SHIP247 is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of a Business Development Associate. The successful candidate will develop proposals and close services contracts. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in B2B sales. From warehousing and inventory management to pick- pack and last-mile delivery, we provide end-to-end logistics support tailored for e-commerce brands, importers, and social sellers. The Role: As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for driving client acquisition and revenue growth. You'll identify potential clients, pitch our fulfilment services, and convert leads into long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
i. Identify and engage new prospects (e-commerce brands, importers, SMEs)
ii. Pitch our warehousing, pick-pack, and delivery services to potential clients
iii. Schedule and attend meetings, demos, and client presentations
iv. Develop proposals and close service contracts
v. Follow up on leads through phone, email, and in-person visits
vi. Build and manage a pipeline of potential clients using a CRM
vii. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth client onboarding
viii. Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
Who We're Looking For:
i. Proven experience in B2B sales (logistics, fulfilment, or SaaS preferred)
ii. Strong communication and negotiation skills
iii. Ability to understand client needs and translate them into solutions
iv. Self-motivated and target-driven with a results-oriented mindset
v. Comfortable with in-person sales
vi. Basic understanding of e-commerce, import/export, or logistics is a plus
