Minime Montessori School, a pre-school in Accra is seeking passionate and nurturing Montessori Teachers who are committed to providing high-quality early childhood education in a child-centered environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy, classroom management, and a genuine love for working with young children. The following are the responsibilities and qualification for the position.
Qualifications & Requirements
i. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
ii. Montessori Certification in Early Childhood (1-6 years) from a recognized institute (e.g., AMI, AMS, or MACTE-accredited)
iii. Minimum 1-2 years teaching experience in a Montessori setting (student teaching may be considered)
iv. Knowledge of Montessori materials, curriculum, and classroom structure.
v. Proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of local languages is a plus.
vi. Basic knowledge of child development, 6 learning through play, and classroom observation techniques.
vii. Strong interpersonal skills with children, parents, and team members.
viii. Ability to plan and implement lessons, track child progress, and maintain a calm and respectful classroom environment.
ix. Must be patient, warm, creative, and highly organized.
