Unicom Chemist, a reputable pharmaceutical company, is seeking a qualified and result-driven Data Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will collect, analyze, and interpret sales data and sales reports. The ideal candidate must be proficient in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Statistical Software, and others. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

       i.          The candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sales data, sales reports, customer data, market trends, and other relevant data needed.

     ii.          The candidate will create regular sales reports and performance dashboards to provide insights to the Sales Manager and other stakeholders, and present findings and recommendations to the Management.

    iii.          The candidate will be responsible for conducting market research to gather information on industry trends, competitor analysis, customer preferences, and market opportunities.

   iv.          The candidate will provide insights and recommendations based on market research findings to support sales and marketing strategies.

     v.          The candidate will monitor and evaluate sales team performance against sales targets and KPIs, identify areas of improvement, and provide recommendations to optimize sales performance.

   vi.          The candidate must ensure data accuracy and integrity by managing and maintaining the sales database. Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure data quality and consistency.

  vii.          The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Sales Manager in developing sales and marketing strategies by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

viii.          The candidate will be responsible for utilizing data analytics tools, CRM systems, if any, and other relevant software to analyze data and generate reports. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to data analysis and sales analytics.

   ix.          The candidate must be able to build machine learning models, especially sales and demand forecasts.

Qualifications & Requirements

       i.          Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, IT, or any related field with at least 2 years of working experience

     ii.          Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Statistical Software,

    iii.          Data Visualization Tools (POWER BI, TABLEAU, LOOKER)

   iv.          Should have programming skills in Python, R, or any other programming language that can be used to analyze data

     v.          Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and provide meaningful insights

   vi.          Must be attentive to details

  vii.          Must be focused and results-oriented

viii.          Must be proactive and innovative

   ix.          Excellent written and verbal communication skills
