Workmate Holdings is seeking to recruit hardworking, qualified and passionate individuals for the Accountant position to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in accounting or similar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating financial records, including ledgers and balance sheets. As follows are the responsibilities and qualification for the position;
Responsibilities
· The candidate will maintain and update financial records, including ledger and balance sheets.
· The candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, reports and tax fillings.
· The candidate will monitor budgets, expenditures and financial transactions.
· The candidate will conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Qualification
· Minimum of 3 years of proven working experience or equivalent in accounting
· Strong skills in internal controls and accounting standards
· Proficiency in QuickBooks online with a minimum of two years of experience
· HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· Professional certification, for example, CPA, ACCA is an added advantage
