Altimate advertising is seeking to employ qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of an Accountant. The ideal candidate must be a chartered accountant with additional qualification in Business Administration or equivalent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s finances in a manner that ensures integrity of financial transactions and records

Main Duties and Responsibilities

·       Candidate will be responsible for preparing periodic financial statements. These reports will be monthly, quarterly and yearly.

·       Candidate will manage company inventory and delivery reports to management and CEO

·       Candidate will design and implement control systems to aid in the validity and accuracy of financial statements

·       Candidate will collaborate will HR Manager and other staff to design and prepare staff payroll

·       Candidate will analyze all business transactions and advise management on the best action to take.

·       Candidate will manage debt collection in collaboration with other departments

·       Candidate will be responsible for coordinating statutory and internal audits

·       Candidate will prepare and manage the organization’s operational budgets.

Qualification

·       ACCA/ICA, applicant must be a Chartered Accountant

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent

·       Applicant should have a good knowledge in the use of up-to-date accounting practices, standards and systems.

·       Applicant must have good interpersonal skills

·       Applicant must have good writing, reporting and verbal communication skills.

·       Proven experience in preparing financial statements

·       Applicant must be able to use Tally accounting software
