GlobalHR Consulting is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking individuals for the position of an Operations Officer. The successful candidate will support the daily operations of the restaurant by ensuring efficient service delivery, adherence to operational standards, and effective coordination between kitchen, service, and delivery units. The Operations Officer plays a key role in maintaining quality, monitoring staff performance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day activities. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications of the position;

Duties & Responsibilities

A. Daily Operations Support

·       Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations.

·       Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen, service, and delivery teams.

·       Monitor service flow to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.

·       Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).

B. Staff Supervision & Coordination

·       Supervise staff during assigned shifts.

·       Ensure staff punctuality, discipline, and proper conduct.

·       Support staff scheduling and shift management.

·       Assist in training new employees and coaching existing staff.

C. Customer Service Oversight

·       Ensure high standards of customer service.

·       Handle customer complaints and escalate when necessary.

·       Monitor customer interactions to maintain service quality.

D. Order & Service Management

·       Monitor dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders.

·       Ensure order accuracy and timely service.

·       Coordinate with dispatch riders for efficient delivery.

·       Ensure proper handling of online and social media orders.

E. Inventory & Stock Monitoring

·       Monitor stock levels and report shortages.

·       Ensure proper handling and storage of food items.

·       Assist in stock counts and inventory control.

·       Help reduce wastage and manage portion control.

F. Compliance & Hygiene Standards

·       Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.

·       Monitor the cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas.

·       Enforce staff compliance with sanitation practices.

G. Reporting & Documentation

·       Prepare daily operational reports.

·       Track sales, orders, and staff performance.

·       Report operational challenges to the Operations Manager.

·       Maintain accurate records of activities and incidents.

H. Systems & Technology Use

·       Operate POS systems and monitor transactions.

·       Ensure proper processing of digital and call centre orders.

·       Utilise operational tools to improve efficiency.

·       Order accuracy rate

·       Service speed and efficiency

·       Customer satisfaction levels

·       Staff punctuality and performance

·       Inventory accuracy and wastage control

·       Compliance with hygiene standards

Qualifications & Experience

·       Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.

·       Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in restaurant or fast food operations.

·       Strong organisational and supervisory skills.

·       Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

·       Fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

·       Requires standing for long hours.

·       Shift work including weekends and holidays.

·       Frequent interaction with staff and customers.
