Pryme Solushyns is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, conduct cost analysis, and prepare reports on project expenditures. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Key Responsibilities:
· Assisting in the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
· Conducting cost analysis and preparing reports on project expenditures.
· Supporting procurement processes, including subcontractor selection and material orders.
· Monitoring project costs and ensuring financial efficiency.
· Assisting in valuing completed work and arranging payments to suppliers and subcontractors.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· A qualifying degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
· Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a QS or in a similar role.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CAD, and other relevant software.
· Good communication and negotiation abilities.
· Knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and cost control principles.
