Our client, a reputable manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Stores Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking and managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock records, and supporting smooth operations in the supply chain. The Stores Officer will work closely with procurement and warehouse teams to maintain efficient stock control and timely replenishment of material supplies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
i. Maintain accurate records of inventory, including stock levels, purchases, and supplies.
ii. Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
iii. Monitor and report low stock levels to ensure timely reordering.
iv. Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of medical supplies.
v. Organise and label inventory for easy identification and retrieval.
vi. Ensure proper storage and handling of materials in warehouse.
vii. Assist in optimising inventory processes to minimise waste and improve efficiency.
viii. Generate inventory reports and support management with stock-related decisions.
Key Qualifications And Requirements:
i. Minimum qualification of a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
ii. Prior experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing setting, is an advantage.
iii. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
iv. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
v. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
