De Heus is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of a Store Keeper. The Shop Keeper is responsible for the promotion of the company’s products. Properly manage and maintain the inventory of our goods, thereby increasing sales in the shop. The ideal candidate will serve as De Heus’ first point of contact, ensuring excellent customer relations and proactive farmer engagement. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

       i.          Serve as De Heus’ first point of contact, ensuring excellent customer relations and proactive farmer engagement.

     ii.          Handle product transactions, including receiving, unloading, and proper storage of goods.

    iii.          Shelve and arrange products according to the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principle.

   iv.          Inspect all deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report immediately to the line manager for record-keeping.

     v.          Maintain accurate records of all receipts, withdrawals, and stock movements in the shop.

   vi.          Monitor and update sales and inventory records, ensuring accurate stock management and timely reporting

  vii.          Implement effective stock management by preventing stock-outs through prompt re-ordering and tracking.

viii.          Communicate clearly with the line manager regarding expiring stock, damage, or shop-related issues.

   ix.          Address customer complaints professionally and provide guidance on De Heus products and usage.

 Educational Requirements and Experiences                              

       i.          Minimum of a senior high school diploma or its equivalent

     ii.          2+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or recordkeeping

    iii.          Computer literate

   iv.          Familiarity with standard practices in a shop/ store

     v.          Ability to make accurate mathematical computations and reconciliations

   vi.          Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage and stock levels
