A reputable pharmaceutical company is seeking to recruit a PERSONAL ASSISTANT to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will maintain accurate records of documents and electronic correspondence on behalf of the managing and executive directors. The successful candidate must have excellent typing skills, speed, and accuracy are essential. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Key responsibilities:
i. Keeping and maintaining an accurate record of documents and electronic correspondence on behalf of the Managing and Executive Directors
ii. Managing diaries and organizing meetings and appointments on behalf of the MD and Executive Director
iii. Arranging the office of the MD/Executive Director to ensure that the office is tidy and orderly at all times
iv. Typing of correspondence
v. Filing of and retrieving of documents
vi. Receiving internal and external calls
vii. Screening and checking visitors of the Director and MD, and ensuring that visitors are well taken care of
viii. Booking and arranging travel, transport, and accommodation on behalf of the MD and Executive Director
ix. Assisting in organizing events and conferences in the company
x. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
i. An HND or a 1st degree in any Social Sciences from a recognized institution with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
ii. Excellent typing skills, speed, and accuracy are essential
iii. Good computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint)
iv. Excellent organizational skills
v. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
vi. Professional customer relations skills
vii. Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
viii. Bright, confident personality and well presented
ix. Flexible and mature approach with the ability to work with little supervision
x. Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality
