Forest Hotel is seeking the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of Front Office Staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, answering phone calls, managing inquiries, and supporting the daily administrative operations of the office to ensure a smooth and professional front desk environment. The following are the responsibilities and qualification for the position;
Responsibilities
i. The candidate will greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
ii. The candidate will answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
iii. The candidate will maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access (monitoring logbooks, issuing visitor badges, etc.).
iv. The candidate will receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
v. The candidate will schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings.
vi. The candidate will maintain the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable.
vii. The candidate will provide basic and accurate information to visitors and clients.
viii. The candidate will assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and faxing.
Qualification
i. Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Porter, Front Office Representative, or similar role
ii. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems
iii. High school, Diploma, and Degree in Hospitality are a plus.
iv. Professional attitude and appearance.
v. Solid verbal and written communication skills.
vi. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
vii. Customer service-oriented mindset.
viii. High school diploma; additional certification in Office Management is a plus.
