Saint-Gobain is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives within a designated territory or market segment. The primary objective of this role is to achieve maximum sales profitability, drive business growth, and expand market presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and increasing market share within the assigned territory. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical acumen, sales expertise, and a passion for delivering value-driven solutions to clients. The following are the responsibilities and qualification for the position;

Role responsibilities:

       i.          Assess opportunities for and drive new product introductions (mortar & admixtures) across the Group, offering to meet customer requirements and achieve revenue targets

     ii.          Assess opportunities for and drive new product introductions across the Group offering to meet customer requirements and achieve revenue targets.

    iii.          Develop markets for new and existing products to attain revenue targets

   iv.          Analyse growth drivers in the respective markets and align the business to capitalise on opportunities

     v.          Develop marketing and sales collateral to capture targeted market and or/accounts

   vi.          Identify business growth/ promotion platforms around the markets and liaise with the respective internal stakeholders to enhance and optimise growth opportunities

  vii.          Manage key accounts relationships to enhance the retention thereof

viii.          Work with internal stakeholders to align Weber Ghana towards servicing the key accounts to enhance customer service and customer retention

   ix.          Explore business development opportunities with key accounts and execute for the attainment of revenue targets

     x.          Manage key accounts' debtors to ensure timely payments

   xi.          Explore opportunities for partnerships with key accounts and ensure implementation for business growth

  xii.          Participate in Habitat platforms and sector platforms to ensure that the business unit broadens SG solutions and offers solutions according to segments/ sectors

xiii.          Craft and drive the implementation of business growth strategies and activities to meet revenue targets (manage the business development process of Ghanian markets)

xiv.          Manage systems and processes for acquisition target identification, opportunity mapping, and implementation through the Group Business Development function.

 xv.          Manage key accounts, relationships, and processes to enhance service levels and attain revenue targets.

Qualification

       i.          At least 7 years’ experience in selling construction products and or related materials, key accounts management, and business development

     ii.          Language proficiency in English, French will be an added advantage

    iii.          Knowledge of the construction industry, especially the built environment

   iv.          Knowledge of construction products

     v.          Thorough understanding of the Ghana and West African markets

   vi.          A very high strategic orientation

  vii.          Experience in managing high high-performing sales team

viii.          An understanding of project management

   ix.          A great attitude and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment

     x.          Negotiating and influencing skills

   xi.          Analytical skills to deliver appropriate solutions

  xii.          Previous manufacturing and or heavy engineering background
