Job Summary

Olet Gh is seeking the services of qualified, reliable, and experienced individuals for the position of a Transport Officer/Chief Driver to oversee the transportation operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vehicle fleets, ensuring safe and efficient transportation, and supervising drivers. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of transportation

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Transportation Management:

       i.          Oversee transportation operations, including vehicle maintenance and scheduling.

     ii.          Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.

Driver Supervision:

       i.          Supervise and manage drivers, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.

     ii.          Ensure drivers adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

 Vehicle Maintenance:

       i.          Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs.

     ii.          Ensure vehicles are in good working condition.

Safety and Compliance:

       i.          Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures.

     ii.          Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and laws.



Qualifications & Requirements:

       i.          Education: Diploma or degree in Transport Management, Logistics, or a related field.

     ii.          Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in transport management or a similar role.

    iii.          Skills: Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.

   iv.          Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

     v.          Ability to manage and supervise drivers.

   vi.          Licenses: Valid driver's license and defensive driving certification.
