Islamic Specialist Clinic and Diagnostic Center is seeking the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of an Ophthalmic Nurse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting initial eye assessments, taking medical histories and documenting symptoms. The ideal candidate must have an HND/Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for conducting initial eye assessments, taking medical histories and documenting symptoms

·       The candidate will be responsible for managing patients with eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts and diabetic retinopathy

·       The candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for eye surgeries such as cataract removal and laser treatment

·       The candidate will be responsible for administering eye drops, antibiotics and other prescribed medications

Qualification

·       HND/Bachelor’s in a relevant field

·       Proven work experience in a relevant field

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Good coordination and interpersonal skills
