We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Midwifery Officer to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to pregnant women, new mothers, and newborns.
Key Responsibilities
i. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate midwifery care and contribute to the management of the assigned ward/ unit.
ii. Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and newborns
iii. Conduct deliveries and assist with complications
iv. Educate women and families on reproductive health and parenting
v. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
vi. Contribute to the organization and delivery of postnatal and antenatal care
vii. Conduct assisted and spontaneous vaginal deliveries
viii. Anticipate and respond to deviations from normal infant deliveries
Requirements
i. Diploma or Degree in Midwifery
ii. Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council Of Ghana
iii. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in midwifery
iv. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
