Korba is seeking the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate will support the efficient and accurate settlement and reconciliation of financial transactions, including Momo, Bank, Card and Airtime transactions. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will assist in managing the settlement and reconciliation of Momo, bank, card and airtime transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

·       The candidate will be responsible for addressing settlement issues, including transaction shortages or non-settlements and escalate when necessary.

·       The candidate will be responsible for reporting and escalating discrepancies noticed in withdrawal settlement transactions.

·       The candidate will be responsible for promoting teamwork, innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

·       The candidate will provide support to team members to help them meet their performance targets and deadlines.

·       The candidate will be responsible for assisting in preparing and distributing daily settlement reports and making adjustments where necessary.

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Administration (Accounting, Banking or Finance

·       3 years of proven work experience in financial operations accounting in a supervisor position. Preferred industry (financial institution, fintech)

·       Experience in reconciliation processes, settlement operations, or managing payment systems, particularly within financial institutions, banks

·       Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to reconciliation and financial transaction

·       Knowledge of systems used for financial reconciliation and familiarity with data management software
