The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting financial data into SAGE accounting software and preparing reports using Microsoft Excel. The role requires accuracy, a good understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in data entry and reporting. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
· The candidate will be responsible for entering financial transactions, invoices, and other relevant data into the SAGE accounting software
· The candidate will prepare regular financial reports using Microsoft Excel, including budgets, financial statements, and variance analysis.
· The candidate must reconcile financial data and identify discrepancies
· The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring data integrity
· The candidate will assist the Finance manager with month-end and year-end closing processes
· The candidate will be responsible for supporting the preparation of financial documents and audits
· The candidate will respond to queries regarding financial data from other departments
· The candidate must ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations
Qualification
· Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or other related fields
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or data entry
· Proficiency in SAGE accounting software and Microsoft Excel
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
· Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
