Softmelon Engineering seeks qualified and hardworking individuals for the Java or React Developer position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing robust and scalable backend systems using Java and also designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will develop robust and scalable backend systems using Java.

·       The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.

·       The candidate will be responsible for managing database interactions and optimizing performances

·       The candidate will be responsible for writing unit and integration tests to maintain code quality

·       The candidate will build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js and related libraries

·       The candidate will collaborate with designers to implement modern and intuitive UI/UX

·       The candidate must ensure frontend applications integrate seamlessly with APIs

Qualification

·       Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

·       Familiarity with containerization, for example Docker, Kubernetes, and others

·       Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

·       Exposure to testing frameworks and practices

·       Knowledge of GraphQL APIs and modern authentication methods
