Serendi Montessori School is seeking the services of qualified, passionate, and hardworking individuals for the position of Montessori teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and enriching children to create a top-notch teaching and learning experience. The ideal candidates should have a Montessori background, a strong knowledge of child development, and be able to create an engaging learning experience. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing effective Montessori-based lessons and activities

·       The candidate must ensure all lessons and activities cater to the needs of children in Grades 1 to 10

·       The candidate will use Montessori materials and techniques to encourage research, discovery, and exploits

·       The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and assessing student progress in both extracurricular and curriculum activities and exercises

·       The candidate must ensure guidance and support is always provided to students to foster academic and personal growth

·       The candidate must ensure a calm and organized classroom environment is created at all times

·       The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere

·       The candidate will communicate effectively with patients and provide them with regular updates on student progress

Qualification

·       Montessori certificate or other related certificates

·       Proven teaching experience in a Montessori school

·       Proven experience of working with students in Grades 1 to 10 is an added advantage

·       Good written and verbal communication skills in both English Language and Asante Twi

·       Good understanding of Montessori principles and child development

·       Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills

·       Live around Asuom or its environs
