BYF is seeking for qualified, passionate and qualified individuals for the position of a Finance Associate. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the managing of the company’s financial activities, to make sure there is accurate bookkeeping, heeding to rules, standards and regulations and giving support for annual audits and statutory fillings. This position will need candidates to work closely with other staff, senior management, clients, customers, vendors, banks and distributors to ensure effective financial operations and reporting.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance or equivalent.
· Having professional accounting certification is an added advantage.
· Proven experience with statutory fillings and compliance
· Good understanding in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite with more attention given to Ms. Excel
· Good writing and verbal communication skills
· Good team player
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· 3-5 years of proven experience working as a finance or accounting officer.
· Proven experience in dealing and working audits with another auditor
