About the Role
A fast-growing cybersecurity and managed security services provider is expanding into Ghana and is seeking a technically skilled cybersecurity professional to support Security Operations Centre (SOC) activities and lead technical presales engagements. The successful candidate will combine strong cybersecurity expertise with excellent client engagement and solution design capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support SOC operations including monitoring and incident response.
- Engage clients to understand cybersecurity requirements.
- Design and present cybersecurity solutions.
- Support technical proposals, RFPs, and solution documentation.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Assist with solution scoping, pricing, and implementation planning.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and analysts.
- Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and technologies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred.
- 5–7 years’ experience in cybersecurity engineering or SOC operations.
- Experience in technical presales or client-facing cybersecurity roles.
- Experience with enterprise security technologies and monitoring platforms.
Technical Skills
- SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, or Wazuh.
- Knowledge of EDR/XDR, SOAR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security.
- Cloud security knowledge across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and related frameworks.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
