The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, fostering and maintaining strong relationships with client leadership and stakeholders. Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant who will serve as the primary HR liaison for individual client accounts, ensuring the delivery of tailored HR strategies and services that align with client business goals. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clients and internal teams to optimize talent management, resolve employee relations issues, and drive operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
i. Act as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with client leadership and stakeholders.
ii. Advise clients on HR policies, compliance with employment laws, and best practices to mitigate risk and enhance workforce productivity.
iii. Ensure timely issuance of HR documents, such as employment contracts, renewals, letters, and memos.
iv. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contracts, employee files, and HR-related documents.
v. Oversee all outsourced staff engagement, manage the new hire orientation, and the exit process.
vi. Handle staff inquiries related to HR policies, leave entitlements, and other HR-related matters.
vii. Collect and verify employee data for payroll processing.
viii. Respond to employee enquiries on complaints about attendance, salary, and other employee benefit payments.
ix. Assist to ensure 100% data on Ghana Card and SSNIT information on all staff.
x. Liaise with internal teams (recruitment, accounts, IT, training, etc.) to deliver holistic HR solutions that meet client needs.
xi. Ensure timely monthly submission of scanned employment documents of client employees.
xii. Stay current with industry trends and emerging HR technologies to drive innovation and best practice adoption.
xiii. Ensure accountability by submitting timely weekly and detailed monthly reports to management.
Qualifications
i. Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
ii. 1 to 2 years of work experience in Human Resource Management or a similar role.
iii. Proficient in MS Office (MS Word and MS Excel, in particular).
iv. Working knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory compliance.
v. Ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
vi. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
vii. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
viii. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
ix. Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
x. Basic knowledge of HR procedures and records management.
