Jambo Spaces is Ghana's pioneering creator hub dedicated to empowering African creatives to turn their creativity into currency. Through community, education, and innovation, Jambo has built a vibrant ecosystem of 8,000+ young creatives, launched the African Digital Creator Academy, and partnered with global institutions like Mozilla Foundation, YouTube, the EU, French Embassy, and the U.S. Embassy.
As we grow, content remains at the heart of our vision. From podcasts to short films, live shows to digital storytelling, we want to amplify the voices of Africa's creative community. In this vein, we are looking for a "Multimedia Producer [Video & Podcasts" who is hands-on with shooting, editing, and producing. This is an entry role but designed for a self-starter with compelling talent willing to grow with us. Someone with the drive to build a team and scale into a senior role.
Key Responsibilities
i. Produce, shoot, and edit podcasts, web series, interviews, mini-documentaries, etc
ii. Develop and manage a slate of owned content for Jambo Spaces' YouTube and digital platforms.
iii. Oversee all podcast production, from concept to post-production.
iv. Build and manage a small team of editors and production assistants over time.
v. Proactively seek and produce external video jobs to generate revenue opportunities.
vi. Handle a wide range of formats, from studio podcasts to visualizers, short documentaries, and handheld phone content.
vii. Collaborate with the programming and partnerships teams to design creative concepts aligned with Jambo's mission.
viii. Maintain high production standards while meeting deadlines.

Role Overview
The Multimedia Producer will lead all aspects of video and podcast production at Jambo Spaces. This includes shooting, editing, producing original shows, and building a pipeline of compelling content for Jambo and for creators within the community. The role requires someone with both creative vision and technical execution, ideally with experience in TV, film, or media houses.
Requirements
i. Strong camera skills, from DSLR to handheld shooting.
ii. Proficiency in any of these editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
iii. Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and produce shows.
iv. Creative problem solver with a strong storytelling instinct.
v. Evidence of past work (portfolio/reel required). Self-starter with leadership potential, eager to grow into a senior production role.

This role is designed with clear potential for upward mobility. As the Multimedia Producer demonstrates success in the role and builds a team, the role has a defined trajectory to grow into Head of Video & Multimedia Production
