Fidelity Bank is seeking the services 

Objectives

       i.          Supporting the implementation of the Gender Action Plan.

     ii.          Translating Accion’s recommendations into actionable workplace policies, programs, and practices.

    iii.          Enhancing organizational capacity for gender mainstreaming across departments.

   iv.          Advising on the development and refinement of financial products and services tailored to meet the needs of women customers and underserved segments.

     v.          Supporting the improvement of systems for collecting, analyzing, and using gender-disaggregated data to inform decision-making across business units.

   vi.          Providing strategic advice on embedding gender considerations into product design, marketing strategies, customer engagement, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

       i.          Translate existing gender recommendations into a detailed and actionable work plan.

     ii.          Develop a detailed 6-month implementation roadmap for the Gender Action Plan and women's inclusion recommendations.

    iii.          Implement the work plan to ensure the achievement of intended outcomes

   iv.          Advise on updates to HR policies, including support for the Bank’s gender policy, recruitment strategies, promotion pathways, and career development programs to enhance gender equity.

     v.          Design and support the rollout of gender sensitivity and unconscious bias training for management and staff across all levels.

   vi.          Establish and lead an internal gender working group to drive implementation across business areas

  vii.          Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation tools to track progress against gender-related targets within the Bank.

viii.          Review existing financial products and services, identify gaps, and advise on opportunities to develop or adapt offerings to meet better the needs of women customers, including women entrepreneurs and low-income women.

   ix.          Support the integration of gender considerations into the product, translating the recommendations into a detailed work plan. We don't need a review since all the work has already been done. The specialist's focus should be on implementation to achieve the outcomes. Development processes, marketing strategies, customer experience initiatives, and financial inclusion efforts.

     x.          Assist in strengthening systems and processes for collecting, analyzing, and using gender-disaggregated data to monitor workplace diversity, customer segmentation, product uptake, and service delivery performance.

   xi.          Guide the Bank on how to use gender insights to drive business growth and innovation.

  xii.          Provide progress reports and comprehensive impact reports highlighting outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations for scaling or adjusting initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

       i.          An advanced degree in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Sociology, or a related field.

     ii.          A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management, gender mainstreaming, diversity and inclusion consulting, or organizational change management.

    iii.          Demonstrated experience in gender-responsive product design and customer inclusion strategies, preferably within the financial services sector.

   iv.          Strong knowledge and practical experience in gender-disaggregated data collection, analysis, and application for organizational or business growth.

     v.          Proven track record of working with financial institutions, corporates, or development partners on gender equity, financial inclusion, or women empowerment projects.

   vi.          Excellent training and facilitation skills, with experience delivering gender sensitivity and inclusive leadership training.

  vii.          Strong research, report writing, and presentation skills.

viii.          Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.

   ix.          Familiarity with relevant global standards and frameworks on gender equality (e.g., UN Women’s WEPs, 2X Challenge criteria, IFC guidelines on gender inclusion).
