DrugNet is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of a Procurement Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock, shortages, and carrying costs. The ideal candidate must have either MCA certification or an HND/ Bachelor’s Degree. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
i. The candidate will maintain accurate inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock, shortages, and carrying costs.
ii. The candidate will monitor expiration dates and ensure proper rotation of stock to minimize
iii. waste.
iv. The candidate will analyze procurement data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
v. The candidate will maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes.
vi. The candidate must evaluate supplier performance and maintain relationships to ensure the quality and reliability of supplies.
Qualification
i. Must have either MCA certification, a degree/HND in Procurement, business, or any related field
ii. Must be result-oriented.
iii. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
