Cape May Properties Ghana is seeking the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of an Account Manager. The ideal candidate must ensure compliance with tax and other statutory obligations and maintain and adhere to financial laws. The ideal candidate must be a Chartered Accountant (ACCA or ICAG). The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate must ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory obligations, and maintain and adhere to financial laws.

·       The candidate will be responsible for managing, developing and monitoring budgets.

·       The candidate will be responsible for supporting management in strategic financial planning.

·       The candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of accountants.

·       The candidate will prepare and present accurate financial reports

·       The candidate will be responsible for overseeing cash flow management

·       The candidate will be responsible for system implementation and monitoring

·       The candidate will oversee payroll processing and vendor payments, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and compliance with company policies

·       The candidate will work closely with other departments such as operations, leasing, facilities and sales to align financial strategies with business objectives

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting

·       Master’s Degree in Finance is an added advantage

·       Chartered accountant (ACCA or ICAG)

·       Proven work experience as an Accounts Manager or other relevant fields

·       Several years of working experience in accounting, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role

·       Proficiency in accounting software (Tally or similar)
