Debate House Ghana is seeking the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of a Waiter/Waitress. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting and seating guests. The ideal candidate must have a minimum SSCE qualification and proven experience in customer service. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for greeting and seating guests

·       The candidate will take orders and answer questions customers may have

·       The candidate will be responsible for noting down any changes or allergy information relating to guests.

·       The candidate will be responsible for communicating any changes to the menu or to orders with kitchen staff

·       The candidate will be responsible for managing cash and card payments

·       The candidate must ensure tables are clean and tidy at all times

·       The candidate will be responsible for setting tables with cutlery, glasses and other equipment ready for new guests

Qualification

·       1 year of proven customer service experience

·       Proven experience working with food and beverages is an added advantage

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Confidence in handling cash and electronic transactions

·       Basic mathematics skills

·       Great time management and problem-solving skills

·       Understanding of food and beverage safety is an added advantage
