Newgas is seeking the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of Sales and Marketing Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting Negas LPG Cylinders on behalf of the appointed Distributor and signing on customers. The role involves a combination of sales and marketing activities to generate leads, attract customers and ultimately drive revenue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scouting and signing on potential customers which could include households’ restaurants, bakeries, etc within the assigned Zones. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate must ensure the showroom is open and ready to receive customers at all times.

·       The candidate will be responsible for assisting distributors reach potential customers in their zone who may not have been captured and registered by the Newgas onboarding team.

·       The candidate will be responsible for actively ensuring customers receive their products on time to meet or exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction.

·       The candidate will analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and create effective marketing strategies.

·       The candidate will be responsible for distributing NewGas marketing materials such as brochures to showcase the company’s products or services.

·       The candidate will be actively participating in Newgas sales activation or promotional activities

·       The candidate will be responsible for developing strategies to generate leads and increase the customer base.

·       The candidate will stay informed about the features, benefits and specifications of Newgas Cylinders and products or services being offered to effectively communicate this information to potential customers.

·       The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing sales and marketing performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.

·       The candidate will work closely with other departments such as product development, customer care and management to align sales and marketing efforts with overall business objectives.

Qualification

·       HND in Business Administration (Marketing Option)

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or Humanities

·       Must live in Accra/Tema

·       Good interpersonal and coordination skills

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Willing to learn

·       Good analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Minimum of two years work experience as a Sales and Marketing Officer
