Living Spring SDA School Complex seeks a science and mathematics teacher for their school. The ideal candidate will encourage social interactions between children, improve their self-esteem, and instil a sense of order and discipline in the classroom. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in a relevant field and previous teaching experience preparing students for B.E.C.E.As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate must encourage social interactions between children and improve their self-esteem

·       The candidate will be responsible for instilling a sense of order and discipline in the classroom

·       The candidate will monitor free time on the playground

·       The candidate must ensure the classroom is a clean, safe and organized environment

·       The candidate will be responsible for preparing for lessons by gathering materials and setting up workstations

·       The candidate will be responsible for communicating with parents to better understand the children’s home lives and psyches

·       The candidate will be responsible for writing up reports for parents on each child’s developmental progress

Qualification

·       A diploma or degree holder

·       Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience and have prepared BECE candidates before

·       Good written and verbal communication skills

·       Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills
