JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are recruiting highly motivated, experienced and analytical individuals with eyes for details to join their research team as Data Analysts. Our research works have clients across the globe where we provide independent business, market and academic research by ensuring the integrity and credibility of clients’ information. Your role as a Data Analyst will involve the whole business and academic research process from planning, training, through to execution of a complete research project.
Your main responsibilities are to;
• Conduct critical literature reviews
• Conduct technical review on research papers
• Collect and conduct routine statistical analyses of data sets and interpret results.
• Perform research on market trends using credible sources
• Prepare interview guides and questionnaires
• Write research proposals
• Recruit and/or interview subjects and Summarize interviews
• Discuss analyzed data with existing literature
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of Business-Related or Social Science Related Bachelor’s Degree.
• At least 2 years of experience directly related to the abilities and responsibilities specified.
• A mathematical/statistical background will be an added advantage.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Ability to analyse data with SPSS, SmartPLS, STATA, Eviews, R, and other statistical softwares
• Strong background in both quantitative and qualitative research
• Excellent Computer and Internet Skills with the ability to complete secretarial procedures, such as formatting, word processing and creating spreadsheets
• Strong understanding of English grammar rules and structure
• Subject knowledge and oral/written communication skills to discuss and document research progress
• Critical thinker and pays attention to details
• Ability to work independently and accurately
• Ability to solve technical and methodological research issues that arise during a research
• Ability to identify and apply sound research techniques, methodology and logical critical analysis
• Must be highly organised with warm interpersonal skills.
