Inspirit Ghana is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of a Human Resource Officer. The ideal candidate will manage the recruitment and staffing process, including job adverts, screening, interviews, onboarding, and workforce planning. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position:

Qualification

       i.          Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.

     ii.          Minimum 2-3 years' HR experience (hospitality preferred).

    iii.          Understanding of statutory requirements affecting psychological health, work-life balance, and hotels in Ghana.

   iv.          Strong interpersonal, confidentiality, and communication skills.

     v.          Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-centred environment.

Responsibilities

       i.          Managing recruitment and staffing processes, including job adverts, screening, interviews, onboarding, and workforce planning.

     ii.          Administering payroll inputs, statutory remittances, and ensuring the confidentiality of payroll data.

    iii.          Acting as a point of contact for employee relations, handling grievances, and promoting teamwork and respect.

   iv.          Driving employee engagement through team-building, recognition programs, and morale tracking.

     v.          Implementing wellbeing initiatives to support psychological health, work-life balance, and prevent burnout

   vi.          Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, coordinating mandatory training, and fostering a safety-first culture.

  vii.          Coordinating mandatory health checks for food-handling and frontline staff in line with local regulations.

viii.          Ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance with Labour Act, SSNIT, GTA licensing, FDA, and workplace safety standards

   ix.          Maintaining HR administration, including employee files, leave records, HR reports, and compliance documentation

     x.          Supporting performance management with KPIs, appraisals, probation reviews, and improvement plans

   xi.          Coordinating training and development programs in service standards, safety, hygiene, grooming, and departmental skills.
