Mansa Engineering is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of a Finance Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, controlling, and forecasting various projects’ budgets. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Associate located in Accra. The Finance Associate will be responsible for:

Responsibilities

       i.          Financial planning, budgeting, controlling, and forecasting various projects' budgets.

     ii.          Preparation of budgets, Management reports, and financial statements for Management.

    iii.          Ensure tax and statutory returns compliance in respect of filing and payments, and tax savings for the company.

   iv.          Perform revenue and cost analysis for various projects in the company. Prepare Financial reports, including Profit and Loss accounts and Balance Sheet, Performance

     v.          Analysis, Cash Flows, and Customer Profitability Reports.

   vi.          Advise on cost management strategies and revenue boosting strategies for the company.

  vii.          Maintain ledger integrity and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures.

viii.          Develop and implement financial systems and internal controls.

   ix.          Ensure total compliance with all regulations by liaising with stakeholders on the resolution of matters arising and maintenance to prevent regulatory infractions.

     x.          Ensure that the month-end close activities are performed in accordance with

   xi.          timelines, guidelines, and financial controls.

  xii.          Processing of Invoices and payments to the bank

xiii.          Responsible for the fixed assets schedule and depreciation computation

xiv.          Conversant with Matching and accrual concepts

 xv.          Manages Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables

xvi.          Monthly Reconciliation of Trial Balance line items

xvii.          Knowledge and Understanding of IFRS

Qualifications

       i.          Financial Statements management and Financial Reporting skills

     ii.          Strong Analytical Skills

    iii.          Excellent communication skills for conveying financial information to senior management.

   iv.          Experience with financial forecasting is a plus.

     v.          Academic Qualification Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related area, ACCA, ICA, CIMA

   vi.          Experience, Additional Knowledge, Firm understanding of taxation, expert user of QuickBooks,

  vii.          Experience in oil and gas is an advantage.

viii.          Computer/IT Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, Appliances, and Accounting Software
